The Fire Technology curriculum was developed jointly by the Curriculum Committee of the California Fire Chief's Association and the College Advisory Committee. This program is intended for Firefighters, Fire Officers, and interested students. To acquire a degree with a major in Fire Technology, it is necessary to complete the graduation requirements below:
Certificate of Achievement: Completion of all six (6) required courses and any six (6) units of Fire Electives
Associate of Science Degree: Completion of all six (6) Required Courses, any six (6) Fire Electives,
and complete the Rio Hondo College general education graduation requirements.
